  • Quizingo
    Wednesday, 11 September 2019in the Social Club – A new take on the popular game of bingo – with a quiz theme. Come and give those grey cells a bit of an outing and have some competitive fun!   Held in the Social Club Commencing at 7.30 p.m.

    £5 per team of 4, £1 extra per team member with a maximum of 6 people per team.

  • Beetle Drive and Board Game evening
    Saturday, 28 September 2019, in the Village Hall

    Commencing at 7.30 p.m.

    £1 to enter. Food available for purchase.

  • Whist Drive
    Saturday, 5 October 2019, in the Village Hall –

    Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

    £2 per person to include tea/coffee and biscuits.

    Come and join us in a fun evening There will be learner tables for any new players or for those of you who haven’t played in a while so don’t be shy. There will be a prize for the winner and the loser.

    Wednesday, 9 October 2019, in the Social Club – Social Club Members only – Commencing 7.30 p.m.

    A new event for the Social Club – Come and tickle your taste buds with a wide variety of wines to sample.

  • Barn Dance
    Saturday, 12 October 2019in the Village Hall

    Commencing at 7.00 p.m.

  • Psychic Encounters
    Wednesday, 16 October 2019in the Village Hall

    Angel Attic are looking forward to bringing their Psychic Encounters once again to the Village Hall. They have a variety of psychics and mediums working on the evening, and 4/5 visit your table for approx. 20-25 mins, then they swap tables, bringing you different styles of mediumship, and psychic messages. So, come along and join us, for an evening with a difference.

  • Rosemary Hale and Derrington’s Art Group, Art Exhibition
    Saturday and Sunday, 26/27 October 2019in the Village Hall.

    Between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. each day.

    Come and see the amazing work these talented artists produce. There will be some paintings for sale and an art demonstration by Rosemary Hale herself. You may even be lucky on the chocolate tombola!

  • Syd’s Quiz
    Saturday, 9 November 2019in the Village Hall

    Commencing at 7.30 p.m.  £2.50 per head – teams of 4.

    Ploughman’s supper included.

    Indoor tug of war hosted by Eccleshall Young Farmers – a fun evening to join in or just watch. There will be a knockout competition to find the champion pullers, who will pull in pairs.

  • Christmas Community Singing

    This is a free event, all welcome – there will be a visit from Santa with a little gift for the children too!

  • Christmas Eve Fun

  • New Year’s Eve Party
    Tuesday, 31 December 2019, in the Village Hall and Social Club

    Commencing at 8.00 p.m. Tickets are £12 for members, £15 for non-members, Children £6 and children of non-members £7.50 and will be available from October the Social Club bar or Helen Sammons on 07866 228544 or 01785 224612

    New for this year The Brightsides who performed in the hall in November 2018 and proved very popular.

    Book early – max 120 tickets. The Snooker room is available for non- ticket holders.

  • Derrington Millennium Green Volunteers
    Second Sunday of the month and Wednesday mornings

    Every second Sunday from 10.00 a.m. and each Wednesday morning from 10.30 a.m.

    Volunteers participate in a range of activities on site. The type of work carried out is as follows:

    • Pond Maintenance; Hedge laying/cutting; Grass cutting;
    • Pruning; WI Garden
    • Maintenance; Strimming;
    • Bird Box building /Maintenance; Eating Cake and socialising!

Our meetings are held in the Village Hall commencing at 7.30 p.m.   Our next meeting will be advertised here when scheduled.  Everyone is welcome.

DERRINGTON WALKS FOR HEALTH

Did you know that there is a led Health Walk every Wednesday in Derrington?

The walk lasts around 30-45 minutes and people of all abilities are welcome. We’re a very friendly bunch! Why not join us!

Just meet at 2pm at St. Matthew’s Church.
