There is a ‘steering group’ that meets regularly, usually at the Village Hall. This group includes all sorts of different people. Some of them represent other groups in the Village or are interested individuals. Some are from other organisations like Sustainability Matters and Stafford Borough Council. The group helps to plan new projects, keep existing projects going, helps at events and does lots of awareness-raising. Most importantly, many people work together and have some fun, knowing also that they are contributing both to the local community and to the care of the local environment and the planet as a whole!

Everyone is welcome to get involved!  The group helps to plan new projects, keep existing projects going, helps at events and does lots of awareness-raising.

Most importantly, lots of people work together and have some fun, knowing also that they are contributing both to the local community and to the care of the local environment and the planet as a whole! Everyone is welcome to get involved!

We are a friendly group and there is a place for anyone with a broad concern for environmental issues, people and communities. We welcome offers of help, support or any kind of involvement – whether it’s delivering leaflets and putting up posters, planting trees, making nest boxes or baking cakes! We’d love to have help with other tasks like grant applications, writing press releases, helping with existing projects like recycling at the Village Hall or our Wednesday Health Walk; perhaps you have the skills we need to produce our six monthly newsletters, or could work with us to keep the website up to date?

Perhaps you can help organise events or plan future projects – or simply join us and share your views and advice?

You will find our agendas and minutes here:
