  • Whist Drive - 20 October 2018
    Come and join us in a fun evening There will be learner tables for any new players or for those of you who haven’t played in a while so don’t be shy.  here will be a prize for the winner and the loser.

  • Wayne Swift - 26 October 2018 (Friday)
    Wayne Swift is a solo singer and versatile vocal entertainer from Walsall. His versatile repertoire includes lots of floor fillers from Bublé to Motown, Pop, Rock, and Soul. In his career as a top male vocalist he has gained much experience which brings an element of professionalism to his smooth voice, along with plenty of cheeky and engaging audience participation!

  • Country Music Singalong - 10 November 2018
    Country Music Singalong Following our successful 60s night, we are holding another themed singalong evening, this time with a Country and Western flavour, so dust of your cowboy hats and polish your spurs and join us for a fun night.   • Young Farmers Tug of War - 17 November 2018
    Young Farmers Tug of War Indoor tug of war hosted by Eccleshall Young Farmers – a fun evening to join in or just watch. There will be a knock out competition to find the champion pullers, who will pull in pairs.   • Christmas Bazaar - 24 November 2018
    Church Christmas Bazaar Raising funds for Community Groups, come and along and give them your support – there will be lots of lovely stalls and fun games Village Hall Between 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.

  • Eccleshall Singers - Tuesday, 11 December 2018
    The Eccleshall Singers have been singing together as a choir for over thirty years and performing in concerts around the area to appreciative audiences, including regular visits to Derrington. This time they are performing in the Church.

    St. Matthews Church Commencing at 7.00 p.m. Hosted by St. Matthews Church, this is a free event, but a ‘retiring collection’ will be made at the end of the performance.  Further information nearer the time in the Parish Magazine.

  • Christmas Community Singing - 15 December 2018
    Come along and join us in celebrating Christmas by singing your favourite Carols and Christmas Songs, accompanied by our popular local musicians and supported by our wonderful Brownies and Guides. Village Hall Commencing at 6.30 p.m. This is a free event, all welcome – there will be a visit from Santa with a little gift for the children too! More information from Syd Smith on 01785 252784
  • Christmas Eve Disco - 24 December 2018
    Christmas Eve Disco Come and boogie on down and celebrate the season with us.

  • New Years Eve Celebration - 31 December 2018
    This will be an evening to remember and the popular Backbeat will again be entertaining us with music for listening and dancing to.

DERRINGTON WALKS FOR HEALTH

Did you know that there is a led Health Walk every Wednesday in Derrington?

The walk lasts around 30-45 minutes and people of all abilities are welcome. We’re a very friendly bunch! Why not join us!
